U3A in Scotland AGM: Friday 7th June 2013 in Stirling
Venue to be confirmed. Under the constitution motions for discussion at the AGM must be submitted to me no later than 26th April. A motion proposed by one U3A must be seconded by another. Three officers are obliged to stand down at the AGM: the Chair, Treasurer and Secretary. We have one nomination for Chair but we need nominations for the Treasurer and Secretary. NEWSFLASH! Fully subscribed!The 3rd Annual Study Day between U3A and the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland will take place on Wednesday June 5th 2013 at Edinburgh Zoo. The topic will be primates. Click here for printable poster. Confirmed speakers include Professor Andrew Whiten of St Andrews University, Dr Katie Slocombe of the University of York and other scientists of the Scottish Primate Research Group as well as experienced RZSS primate keepers and education staff.
